This is a close-up of the SMA Eagle before North Baracks was torn down.
After being discarded in a farmers field for over a decade, Lolo Page (Kable) Bonfoey discovered it and paid to have it moved back to the Hill.
Funds from the SMA Legacy projects were used to make a replica seen here as installed in the SMA-VWIL Museum

A replica of the original Major Howie bust was made for display in the museum. The original is with the National Guard Armory in Staunton.
